so far I think my strengths are oil pastels and showing texture; my projects really don't look realistic so they kinda have a cartoonish look to them but not really cartoon. I'll list my projects from Weakest to strongest.

5. Folds and fabric
6. Bubbles/ pattern
7. Portrait
8. Cups
9. Cat/ impress me
All projects are great and show good growth. All of these projects are well executed and look very great.

ReplyDeleteKatie, I think that since art 2 you have shown the most growth over time with all your work... Well, you and Mary. Oil pastel, paint, and pencil are your strengths. You have a unique way of capturing value with pencil and your textures with pastel and paint are awesome. I love your idea for textures in your concentration. I think your smooth textures should be done in pencil for sure with strong value sources. A cement wall at school done in perspective came to mind for some reason for one of them.
